Besides crossing the border to visit Silver City, Idaho, Eric's photography trips beyond Oregon began in 2011, when he spent a summer in Utah before living in Southern Oregon. From 2011 through 2013, Eric started photographing in Utah, Nevada, and California.

2011 was more so the beginning of Eric's photography trips beyond Oregon. He spent a summer in Utah before living in Southern Oregon for almost three years. From 2011 through 2013, Eric started photographing in Utah, Nevada, and California, although he did not upgrade his camera and the quality of his photos until late 2013.
